HRMS guides
Triostack HRMS centralizes employee records, onboarding, attendance, and performance. This guide covers setting up your first employee records and the onboarding and attendance workflows built on top of them.
1. Import employee records
From HRMS → Settings → Import, upload a CSV of current employees — name, role, department, manager, and start date at minimum. This becomes the source record every other app (Payroll, LMS) reads from, so it's worth getting department and manager fields right up front.
2. Build onboarding checklists
Onboarding templates (HRMS → Onboarding → Templates) define the steps a new hire and their manager complete — document uploads, equipment requests, first-week tasks. Templates can be assigned automatically based on department or role.
3. Configure attendance and leave
Attendance policies (HRMS → Settings → Attendance) define working hours, leave types, and approval routing per location or team. Once configured, attendance data flows directly into Payroll — see the Payroll guide for how pay runs consume this data.
4. Run performance review cycles
Review cycles (HRMS → Performance) can be scheduled quarterly or annually, with a shared competency framework so managers across the company are evaluating against the same criteria.
