Subprocessors

A subprocessor is a third party Triostack engages to process Customer Data on Triostack's behalf in the course of providing TriostackOne — for example, an infrastructure or hosting provider.

Triostack uses subprocessors to provide functionality such as hosting, storage, communications, and payment processing, so that Triostack can focus on building and operating TriostackOne rather than every underlying piece of infrastructure.

Subprocessors Triostack engages generally fall into categories such as:

• cloud hosting and infrastructure;
• data storage and backup;
• payment processing;
• customer communications (such as transactional email or SMS); and
• customer support tooling.

By using the Services, a Customer provides general authorization for Triostack to engage subprocessors as described in this page and the Data Processing Agreement, Section 9.

Triostack requires its subprocessors to maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures and to be bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations materially consistent with Triostack's own commitments under the Data Processing Agreement.

Triostack will update this page when it adds or replaces a subprocessor that processes Customer Data. Where required under an applicable agreement, Triostack will provide advance notice of a new subprocessor before it begins processing Customer Data.

A Customer with a reasonable, documented objection to a new subprocessor on data protection grounds may contact Legal Contact within a reasonable time after notice. Triostack will work with the Customer in good faith to address the objection, which may include providing additional information or, where the objection cannot be resolved, discussing alternative arrangements.

Some subprocessors may process data outside the country in which it was originally collected. Where this occurs, it is subject to the cross-border transfer provisions of the Data Processing Agreement, Section 18.
